ReachMail is considered by many an industry leader in email marketing. It is a good tool to consider, whether your business is a large enterprise or a small business starting to grow.

You pay for the many features that ReachMail has on offer based on the number of emails you send and how many subscribers you have.

It is an easy-to-use tool with customizable templates, testing features, and impressive reporting and analysis.

    PROS

1: Very Easy to Use: ease of use is normally a must for marketers who are busy and don’t want to waste any time. ReachMail does not disappoint and can be used by everyone regardless of how much experience they have with email marketing tools.

2: Impressive Free Plan: typically, free plans are limited in what they offer feature-wise, but ReachMail is very generous. You can send mail to up to 5,000 contacts, which is more than you get with other well-known and paid tools.

3: Effective A/B Tests: ReachMail offers A/B tests that will help you determine just how successful your marketing strategies are.

4: Great Customization: customization is important for effective email marketing and you get it in good measure from ReachMail. You can customize the look of your campaigns quite easily.

    CONS

1: Design Tool is Lacking: although ReachMail is a good tool, its design feature isn’t as up-to-standard as I’d expect it to be. It works, but it could be better. Perhaps this will change in the future as the company updates and improves its product.

2: Template Library is Limited: the lack of templates to use and get inspired by is a bit disappointing. I am hoping that ReachMail will add to their library as soon as possible.

    Who is ReachMail Good For?

    •       You need to: be able to test and analyze your email marketing efforts. ReachMail makes this easy with its testing and analytics features.
    •       Your company: has many subscribers that need customized and attractive emails that will keep them interested in your product or service.
    •       You want: to build drip campaigns easily and effectively — it’s not a tedious task with ReachMail.

    ReachMail Isn’t Recommended For:

    •       Marketers who: need to have many templates to work with for easy email design. ReachMail’s library isn’t yet what it could be.
    •       Anyone who: needs a complex and comprehensive email design tool. You won’t find that with this tool at this point in time. However, it is still an adequate feature that enables you to build good-looking emails.

Although the free ReachMail package is a bit limited, you’ll still be able to build impressive email campaigns with it. You might not have access to dedicated IPs and can only send emails to 2,500 contacts, but it’s a really good starting point. As you grow, you can easily upgrade — the paid packages are not at all very expensive.

    Cancellation/Refund Policy

ReachMail will refund a prepaid month if they have stopped providing the agreed-upon service and will terminate your account without cause. Also, if the company sees it fit, they may offer a refund if requested.

    ReachMail Features

ReachMail’s features make it a popular choice, so let’s see why and get to know this service a bit better.

    ·       Reporting and Analysis

    Rating:  3.7/5

ReachMail will help you stay on top of what’s happening with your email marketing campaigns with the help of Google Analytics. You’ll get a detailed analysis of the health and performance of your emails for future reference and to help you improve your strategy.

Integration with Google Analytics is done in just a few minutes and you’ll have a summary of stats from your campaigns.

    Reporting and Analysis

    ·       Open and Click Tracking

    Rating:  4/5

ReachMail has opens and clicks tracking built-in so you can keep a close eye on what subscribers do with the emails you send them.

Opens and clicks are automatically tracked and you can set up your own open and link tracking domains. It’s a really useful feature that isn’t offered by many other email marketing services or tools.

You will have to upgrade to a paid package if you want to make use of this feature though.

    ·       Drip Campaigns

    Rating:  3.8/5

Drip campaigns are a big part of most email marketing strategies and ReachMail makes it easy.

You can use their autoresponders with flexible timing sequences and you can link more than one of them to the same list for a really good drip campaign.

The pacing of your drip campaign is up to you; you can space your emails out over a couple of weeks or have them more frequent. It’s all up to how you want to do things.

    ·       A/B Testing

    Rating:  4/5

It’s sometimes difficult to know just what kind of email is the right one to send out but A/B testing makes this a bit easier. ReachMail’s A/B testing feature is easy to use and you can use the drag-and-drop message builder to create dynamic content to test.

ReachMail lets you select five messages to start your testing and the reports will display in an easy-to-understand manner. Once you’ve identified the best option, you can go ahead and send the emails to your subscribers.

    ·       Litmus Previews

    Rating:  4/5

Even the most well-designed emails can look wonky or weird when viewed on different platforms or devices. With ReachMail, you can get previews of your emails before you send them and avoid this problem.

You can see how your emails will look on Andriod devices, Apple devices, Aol.com, Yahoo, and Gmail.

    Litmus Previews

If there is one element that many marketers neglect, it’s the welcome email, which is actually essential in email marketing. ReachMail got you covered though because they’ll welcome all of your new subscribers immediately.

The new additions to your list will receive autoresponders and they will be sent out whether people sign up via a ReachMail sign-up form or if you import the contacts manually.

You can also set up default sign-up confirmation emails or add customized messages to these emails.

    Rating 3.5/5

ReachMail’s integrations aren’t as vast as you’ll get from other email marketing tools, but it’s still pretty good. Thanks to them working with Zapier, you can connect to more than 3,000 apps, which is still an impressive number.

You don’t need to know any coding because Zapier and ReachMail take care of all the technical aspects of the integrations for you. You can keep your team’s productivity to a maximum with the convenient integrations.

You can use the following applications.

    ReachMail Automations

You can use the automation features here to take human work hours away from most aspects of your campaigns. Auto-segment your subscribers, personalize messages, connect your emails to customized landing pages, and auto-split test your emails.

ReachMail can automate your email delivery with dedicated automations that are easy to use and effective.

    •     Email Marketing Automation

You can make use of the default sign-up confirmation emails that ReachMail offers or you can create your own unique message to send to new subscribers.

Welcome emails can also be sent out and delivered when you have new subscribers and they’re independent of sign-up forms.

    •     Follow-Up Campaigns

ReachMail’s automations simplifies any follow-up campaigns that you may want to create. With just a few clicks, follow-ups are sent to your customers, which can go a long way to increasing conversion rates.

    Customer Service

There’s unlimited support for customers 24/7, both over the phone and by email. However, to access these contact details you’ll need to purchase a subscription.

    ReachMail Alternatives

ReachMail is a really good option for email marketing but if it doesn’t offer what you want, there are other options. Here are three of my top alternatives:

    Benchmark

Small businesses are especially fond of Benchmark and its many excellent features. The platform is straightforward and easy to use and the guided workflows are attractive.

The free plan on offer from Benchmark will surprise you with how much you can achieve with it. On top of that, the platform has more than 1,500 integrations, so you’ll be able to use it along with all your other favorite platforms.

    Email Octopus

If you’re looking for an innovative option, Email Octopus could be just what you want. You can send emails through Amazon’s Simple Email Service, which makes this an affordable choice.

You also get automation tools with Email Octopus to streamline your marketing and build complex strategies. It also offers an impressive amount of integrations and time-based drip emails. The real-time analytics feature is a great attraction as well.

    SendX

The main goal of SendX is affordable and intuitive email marketing, which is exactly what it offers. You can create and send out newsletters and drip campaigns as well as make use of features like segmentation and post-purchase follow-up.

Additionally, SendX has unique Forms and Pop-Ups that you can use to complement your email marketing plans.

    Conclusion

ReachMail is an admirable email marketing service that is effective, powerful, and affordable. That’s not a combination that’s easy to find these days. You can build really good-looking email campaigns and do lots of testing to ensure that your campaigns are a success.

ReachMail is a decent service that can certainly drive up your website’s traffic and increase custom. By tracking click-and-open data, and using the five-pronged split testing, you can quickly find your way to the email format and delivery time which comes with the optimal response. The ability to automate customized landing pages adds a personal touch that may make you stand out from the crowd. The only real downside is that many of the more attractive features mentioned above are available just on the most expensive of plans, which are very costly.
